El fabricante de chocolate Lindt contribuirá a la producción de energÃa renovable poniendo a disposición de Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH), la principal empresa eléctrica del estado de New Hampshire (Estados Unidos) la cáscara del grano de cacao empleada en la elaboración de sus productos, con el fin de que se utilice como biomasa para la obtención de electricidad, informa una nota de prensa de la firma chocolatera.
La iniciativa permitirá a Lindt reducir su impacto medioambiental, al poder destinar este residuo de su actividad a la producción de electricidad limpia.
El estado de New Hampshire aprobó recientemente el uso de cáscara de grano de cacao como biomasa para centrales eléctricas, un combustible que tiene unas emisiones de dióxido de carbono mucho más bajas que los combustibles fósiles.
La iniciativa permitirá a PSNH reducir en media tonelada su consumo de carbón por cada tonelada de biomasa de cáscara de cacao utilizada en la generación de energÃa eléctrica. PSNH suministra electricidad verde a 490.000 hogares y negocios, y apoya numerosos proyectos para la protección de los bosques asà como a organizaciones para la defensa del medio ambiente, mediante aportaciones financieras y la contribución a labores de voluntariado de sus empleados.

about a week ago I began having the memory stick reading problem that I have now found other have also had, I have read what others have done to fix the problem, adjusted settings in the VST and recovery menus , reset the device & reformatted the sticks, Nothing has corrected the new & sudden issue.
