La mayoría de las compañías presentarán nuevos modelos a lo largo del año. También se espera más competitividad en el segmento de vehículos urbanos con bajo consumo de combustible. Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Mercedez Benz y Toyota son algunos de los que esperan en línea de largada
El auto eléctrico espera detrás de las puertas de las grandes automotrices para que le den el banderazo de salida. En todo el mundo, hay casi diez marcas con ofertas, y nadie quiere quedar afuera de la competencia.
Compañías como Reva, Think o incluso Fiat ya tienen en sus listados modelos que se “enchufan”. Pero otras como Mitsubishi, Peugeot y Citroën, se han aliado para lanzar un mismo vehículo, aunque con un nombre diferente -i-Miev, i-On y C-Zero- y una estética personalizada.
Estos modelos incluirán un motor eléctrico de 65 caballos y tendrán una autonomía de 130 kilómetros, después de un tiempo de carga estimado de cinco horas, según publica el diario español El Mundo.
Daimler, de Mercedes-Benz, será otra de las grandes marcas que comercialice en 2010 un eléctrico. En concreto, será a través de Smart, que lanzará el EV en torno al verano.
Otro fabricante que entrará en esta guerra será Tata con el Indica Vista.
De esta manera, entre los que ya se encuentran en carrera y los que se sumarán, 2010 contará con una gama de vehículos no contaminantes compuesta por alrededor de una decena de coches que significará el inicio de una nueva era.
Junto a los eléctricos, también aumentará el próximo año la oferta de híbridos: vehículos que combinan un motor eléctrico y otro de combustible. En este rubro se esperan el Honda CR-Z, el Toyota Auris HSD, el BMW X6 Híbrido y el Porsche Cayenne híbrido, según el mismo medio español.
Otro segmento que recibirá un buen número de novedades será el de los autos urbanos, con pequeños motores y reducido tamaño. En este rubro se encuentran el Fiat Punto EVO, Chevrolet Spark, Citroën C3 y Citroën DS3.
Luego, y en una batalla donde las marcas premium tendrán gran protagonismo, llegarán el Audi A1, para competir directamente con el Mino Cooper, el Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, Abarth Punto EVO, Lancia Ypsilon -y Suzuki Swift, concluye El Mundo.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
